Peter Gabriel is the founder and managing director of Gabriel Law Corporation.
With 30 years of experience under his belt, he has undertaken extensive litigation as well as transactional related work - his specialized knowledge in each domain mutually enhances his understanding of the other.
Litigation wise, his main areas of work cover banking and finance disputes, commercial and corporate disputes, investigations and asset recovery, tort and contractual claims as well as domestic and international arbitration.
His transactional legal work among numerous things, involves banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and admiralty related matters. The extent of his work is also reflected in his frequent provision of legal opinions to a major London Commercial Law firm on finance and corporate matters.
The scope of his work is both domestic and international. He has undertaken a significant amount of complex commercial litigation and arbitration work in Singapore, India, United Kingdom, Serbia, Switzerland and the Bahamas. In relation to transactional matters, his work spans Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Panama and China.
In addition to providing counsel to clients, Peter has sat as a Regional Arbitrator at the SIAC on a couple of occasions. He has also been responsible for the firm’s continuing involvement in providing Legal Aid to the less fortunate in Singapore.
