Wang Yanwei Wendy

Wang Yanwei Wendy is our China Desk Foreign Legal Advisor.
She has a Degree in Philosophy from Beijing Normal University and a law Degree from Beijing University.

After her graduation, she began her career in 1989 as a Judge in Jinan, Shandong, China. As a Judge, she sat on civil and administrative matters and continued to do so for next ten years. These matters include family, land, Intellectual Property and civil contractual disputes.

Sometime in the end of 2000, she came to Singapore and obtained special permission from the Singapore Attorney-General Chambers to practise Chinese Law as a Foreign Law Advisor.

During her stint as a Foreign Legal Advisor, Ms Wang had helped clients from Singapore who wants to go into China for investment as well as for business ventures. She also helped Singaporean clients in family, civil and criminal disputes, and Intellectual Property matters in China. She continued her links with many law firms in China, such as in Shanghai, Beijing, Shandong, Guangdong, Dalian, Shen Zhen, Fujian, etc, to facilitate for these clients going into China. As Ms Wang is from the People's Republic of China, she is quite familiar with the social and business context of the People's Republic of China and her people. She has also helped both companies from the People's Republic of China and individuals who comes to Singapore and pursue with their interests in Singapore.

We believe that Ms Wang's role would be pivotal for our organisation. Together with our team of lawyers practising Singapore Law, she is able to provide valuable service to the organisation which the firm handles in relation to her expertise.
